The Canadian Screen Awards (the Canadian Oscars) were held this past weekend in Toronto. The show honors the best in Canadian film and TV from the last year. “John A: Birth of a Country” and “Call Me Fitz” led the way walking away with four trophies each.

Best Direction in a Dramatic Program or Mini-Series: Jerry Ciccoritti
Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Program: Peter Outerbridge
Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program: Shawn Doyle
Best Writing in a Dramatic Program: Bruce M. Smith
