Working Both Sides of The Camera

Draake Herd on set. 2013

Recently I had the pleasure of working on both sides of the camera. What a fantastic experience – I have a greater respect and perspective of everyone’s job on set. If you are serious about acting and ever get the chance… take it!

We were very fortunate and had the talented Luba Goy on set. Most people know Luba from The Royal Canadian Air Farce. I was first introduced to Luba at a very young age by my parents whom were big fans of the hilarious show Bizarre. After working with her and seeing both sides of the fence; I wanted to say this… talent IS the difference on any production. She took a decent script and made comedy gold with it, she really did. Talent makes productions’ life much easier as well. A great learning experience.
